Four things macOS
forgot to ship.

Perch sits in your menu bar with a clipboard history, expanding snippets, a fully programmable mouse and a super key. All of it follows whichever app is in front.

Type a short code anywhere and it becomes your saved text.

Hold one button, click another: every button gets a job. Per app.
Keys
Caps Lock becomes a super key: a whole shortcut layer. Per app.

Everything you copy,
one shortcut away.

Press ⌘⇧V in any app. A floating popup appears, fully keyboard-driven, and the app you came from keeps focus the whole time.

03 · Mouse

Every button
gets a job.

Click, double-click and hold are three separate actions on every button. Add flick gestures, per-app scroll control and a pointer acceleration override.

Mouse Shift

A hidden layer on
an ordinary mouse.

Hold one chosen button and every other button gains a second action. Click, double-click and hold each get their own slot, and each hold key carries its own set of combos.

Five buttons become twenty actions, without buying a different mouse.
04 · Keys

Caps Lock was
wasted on you.

Remap any key or shortcut. Turn Caps Lock into a Hyper Key: a private ⌘⌥⌃⇧ layer no app will ever fight you for. Double-tap a modifier to run an action.

The whole idea

Everything is per app.

Mouse and keyboard behavior follows whichever app is in front, automatically. The same press does different things, because you meant different things.
